Saudi arabia calls on foreigners to respect fasting muslims

Saudi Arabia warned Thursday to expel non-Muslim foreigners who eat or drink in public during the holy Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
According to a statement, the interior ministry urged non-Muslims to "respect the feelings of Muslims by refraining from eating, drinking or smoking in public places, streets and at work."
"They will not be excused for being non-Muslims," read the statement.
The ministry warned those who violate this warning by termination of work contracts and deportation.
