An aircraft of a Saudi-led-coalition bombed on Friday a vehicle carrying leaders of militias of the Houthi group and former Yemeni president Ali Abdallah Saleh in Hajjah province in northwestern Yemen.
Five Houthi leaders, including a senior military commander, were killed in the raid, Yemen Press news website quoted local sources as saying.
In Saada province neighboring Hajjah, the warplanes of the coalition continued their raids on the strongholds of the Houthis, killing a number of Houthi rebels.
In Ibb province, 193 km south of the capital Sanaa, the coalition also bombed a number of Houthi positions, including a checkpoint and a central security forces camp.
Meanwhile, 29 members of the Houhi militias were killed in ambushes set up by resistance members in Al Bayda and Al Jawf provinces.
