Minister of Local Development Ahmed Zaki Badr called on all Egyptians to stand shoulder to shoulder at this critical stage to face acts of terrorism.
Commenting on Sunday's terrorist attack in the precincts of the Abbassiya-based Cathedral, the minister told MENA that terrorism does not differentiate between a Christian and a Muslim, pointing out to the attack against a police patrol outside a mosque in the Giza district of Haram days ago.
He said that Egypt will never surrender to such terrorist attacks and offered condolences to the families of the victims.
At least 25 people were killed and 49 wounded in the terrorist attack which targeted worshipers during Sunday morning mass.
