
UAE condemned Saturday the violence in the city of Tripoli, Libya, which led to loss of lives and a number of injuries. UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan voiced "his sadness and sorrow at the number of victims during a peaceful demonstration, expressing his condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery for the injured." He called on "all Libyan parties to renounce violence and ensure the Libyan national and regional unity." He also expressed "his support for the Libyan government's efforts in facing acts of violence in all their forms and manifestations in order to establish stability and security over all parts of Libya."
