
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohamed al-Sa’adi returned to Sana’a on Wednesday after his participation in the annual meetings of the World Bank (WB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) . In a statement to Saba, al-Sa’adi said that the meetings of the WB and IMF ,which concluded recently in the U.S. city of New York, dealt with a number of topics in the economic areas. He noted that he held talks, on sidelines of the meetings of the WB and IMF, with a number of officials in the WB and the IMF, during which he discussed with them the issues relating to Yemen, especially in the fields of electricity, roads and water. Al-Sa’adi noted also that he discussed, on sidelines of the meetings, with a number of the U.S. officials in the U.S. Department of State the political issues and the developments of the national dialogue and its achievements.
