The Yemeni Red Crescent (YRC) on Friday decided to suspend its activities in the Yemeni city of Taiz.
In a statement earlier in the day, YRC said that the decision was made due to the "catastrophic situation" in the city.
The statement condemned the repeated attacks on the YRC branch in Taiz.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), for its part, expressed concern about the escalation of fighting in the city.
Yemen has been rocked by months of fighting between the Houthis and loyalists of Yemeni President Abdrabu Mansur Hadi, which left thousands of Yemenis dead and millions in need of urgent aid.
