
One soldier was killed and three others injured during anti-terrorism operations in southeastern Turkey, according to military sources.
According to security sources who spoke on condition of anonymity with Anadolu Agency (AA) due to restrictions on talking to the media, the incident happened in Cukurca district of Hakkari province near the Iraqi border on Tuesday.
Twenty-three PKK terrorists were also killed in ongoing army operations in several southeastern Turkish provinces, according to army and security sources.
The Turkish General Staff issued a written statement on Tuesday saying the terrorists were killed in Sirnak, Mardin, Diyarbakir and Hakkari provinces.
