10 Dead in Russia's gas explosion rescue finished

Search and rescue operations have been completed at the site of a gas explosion in an apartment block in Astrakhan, in which ten people died, a regional emergency service spokesman told Russia's News Agency (RIA Novosti) on Wednesday. "Any obstructions have been removed, the operation is completed, ten people have died," he said. Three of the 12 people injured remain in hospital, the Emergencies Ministry said. "Their condition is stable, all the others have already been discharged, " regional Ministry of Health press secretary Alina Goncharova told RIA Novosti.
