Fort Wayne, Ind., police arrested two men for the alleged armed robbery of Amish buggies in four separate incidents, officials said. David Veliz, 19, and Alejandro Lopez, 18, could face charges of armed robbery and criminal confinement, The (Fort Wayne) Journal Gazette reported Thursday. A juvenile was also detained, though their name nor the nature of their involvement in the alleged crimes has been reported. The men allegedly stopped an Amish buggy in "at least four separate incidents" in Berne while wearing ski masks and armed with baseball bats, Adams County Sheriff Shane Rekeweg told the Decatur (Ind.) Daily Democrat. "We are still investigating this incident and will have more information to follow," he added. None of the alleged victims were injured to the point of needing to visit a hospital, the Journal Gazette reported.
