
Two children were found beheaded Sunday in a village in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, local media reported Monday. The horrifying murder took place in Lakhimpur Kheri district of the state about 120 km from state capital Lucknow, said Indo-Asian news Service. The brothers, Mohit Dixit, 10, and Rochak, eight, went missing last week. After searching for them in nearby areas, the boys' severed heads were found Sunday. The victims' family has been asked to zero in on any animosity to give police further leads for police and local government has promised to capture the criminals in the case.
