Greek Coast Guard launched a wide search and rescue operation early Monday for the 25 undocumented migrants who went missing as their boats capsized off the coast of Samos island in the eastern Aegean Sea. Local officials said 34 passengers were rescued while two died and their bodies have been retrieved. Survivors said the two capsized boats were carrying about 60-65 illegal immigrants while the shipwreck occurred. But their nationalities have yet to be identified and no other details are released. In addition to Greek Coast Guard and Frontex speedboats, a Greek Navy ship, a helicopter, three fishing boats with divers and a cruise ship are also participating in the rescue operation.
