The bus carrying 44 passengers hit a truck on the Korla-Kuqa Highway in Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture at around 7 a.m. Saturday, said the prefecture police. The bus was on its way from the provincial capital Urumqi to Shaya County in Aqsu Prefecture in western Xinjiang.
