
Two Turkish policemen were killed and another critically wounded in Bingol City, eastern Turkey, security authorities announced Thursday.
Unknown gunmen shot three officers while they were investigating property damage by recent demonstrations held against the Turkish government's strategy in Kobane, killing two officers and wounding one, the authorities said.
Meanwhile, three people were also killed today in Gaziantep province, southern Turkey, during armed confrontations between opposing groups over the fate of Kobane, according to Turkish media.
Earlier, Turkish authorities announced that the death toll of recent violence in various cities in the country has risen to 26.
