Russian plane crash in Siberia
Moscow - Arab Today
The Russian defence ministry said one of its planes has crashed in northeast Siberia, but that nobody had been killed in the accident, Russian news agencies report.
The Ilyushin Il-18 aircraft is believed to have been carrying 32 passengers - a rotating team of officers - and seven crew members on board, when it crash-landed near the town of Tiksi.
The plane had been travelling from Yekaterinburg, TASS reported.
The defense ministry Ilyushin Il-18 aircraft made an emergency landing on Monday 30 kilometres from an airfield near the town of Tiksi in the Sakha Republic at 4.45am local time, the TASS news agency reported.
The ministry said 23 people had been airlifted to hospital, 16 of whom were in serious condition and three in "grave condition", TASS said, citing a local hospital official.
News reports had at first said there had been 27 deaths.
The ministry said a team of military investigators had been flown to the crash site.

To 'eternal style' of late Alaia
Paris - Al Maghrib Today
Two months after legendary designer Azzedine Alaia's sudden death plunged the fashion world into mourning, an exhibition in homage to the "King of Cling" opened Monday in his studios in Paris. The Tunisian-born designer, renowned for the way his clothes hugged the body, died suddenly in November aged 82, reportedly of heart failure after falling down the stairs at his home. The diminutive maverick, who ignored fashion week convention by showing when and where he wanted, in July produced his first couture collection in six years to rapturous reviews. Now some of his most iconic dresses are going on display in the glass-roofed gallery next to his studio and home in the Marais district where he used to show his creations. It includes the dress worn by supermodel Naomi Campbell, his longtime friend and muse, when she led hisGMT 09:22 2018 Monday ,22 January
