A freight train struck three brothers on a trestle in western New York, killing two of them and leaving the third with serious injuries, authorities say. Brian Reed, 26, and his half-brother Justin Halpainy-Livermore were dead at the scene of the Friday night accident in Westfield, Buffalo's WGRZ-TV reported. Benjamin Reed, 26, was hospitalized in serious condition. The accident occurred while the trio were walking along the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks over Chautauqua Creek. There are "no trespassing" signs posted along the tracks near the trestle, which the TV station said people have used as a shortcut for years.
