
Three people, including a suspect, were killed in a shooting incident Saturday afternoon in a coffee shop in Croatian eastern city of Osijek, the Croatian News Agency Hina reported.
Local police confirmed that the alleged suspect was killed himself around 16:30 local time (1430 GMT) before police entered the room where he hid.
Police said they negotiated with the suspect for hours after receiving reports of killing and rushed to the scene.
It was confirmed by police that the victims were a woman and man, with identities known yet.
However, according to unconfirmed information the female victim was the wife of the suspect and the other was one of the guests at the coffee shop.
Police said investigation is underway to ascertain the identity of the suspect and his motive.
