Three foreign tourists and a Nepali national died in an avalanche that took place in Nepal's mountainous district of Mustang, authorities said.
The avalanche claimed the lives of two Polish tourists and one Israeli citizen whose identities are yet to be confirmed.
The process of recovering the dead bodies is underway, according to the Nepalese army's Public Relations Directorate.
The Nepalese army has also rescued 38 foreign tourists from the area after the situation turned worse due to heavy snowfall. In the wake of the cyclone Hudhud, the central and western parts of Nepal have experienced heavy rainfall accompanied by hail storms in the past few days.
