All the three, including the driver and two passengers, were confirmed dead, a police officer on the scene was quoted as saying. The man, who reportedly stabbed the three with a knife, was taken into custody at 19:00 local time (1800 GMT). It was not immediately known if other passengers were injured in the episode. Police received a report at 17:35 (1635 GMT) that a bus was hijacked somewhere between Aardal and Tyin in Norway's Sogn and Fjordane county. Oslo police were even requested to send an emergency squad to the scene. But later it was called off after the suspected attacker was arrested. In 2003, a bus driver, who worked for the Valdres Express bus service, was stabbed to death near a place called Fagernes. But he managed to save the lives of 30 passengers on his bus.
