
Three people were confirmed dead while 14 others were wounded in a predawn bus accident on Saturday in Burgos of northern Philippine province of Ilocos Norte, local media reported. Initial investigation showed that the accident happened at 3 a. m. local time Saturday when the bus driver lost control of the bus after someone threw a stone on its windshield while the bus was traveling on highway from Cagayan to Vigan city in Ilocos Sur. Three passengers died on the spot, and the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals. The driver was now in police custody. Further investigation is on ongoing
