A man injured three people with a foldable knife on Friday night while trying to steal a cellphone from one of them at Changsha Railway Station in central China's Hunan province.
The attack, which appears to have been a robbery gone wrong, occurred around 7:10 p.m. at the exit of the station.
The assailant, who claimed to be surnamed Chen and to be from southwest China's Yunnan Province, has been arrested.
Investigation into the case is under way.
The three victims are slightly injured and receiving medical treatment, said the Changsha Public Security Bureau.
