3 women shot dead in Florida hair salon, gunman kills self

A gunman shot dead three women in a hair salon in central Florida, and killed himself, local TV reports said Thursday. WFTV in Orlando said the incident took place in Seminole County. The gunman shot dead three women on the premises of Las Dominicanas M&M Hair Salon in the Casselton Corners shopping plaza and then left the scene. Minutes later he shot himself at a home on Paradise Lane in Winter Park. Two women at the salon escaped the shooting, which police said was a domestic-related incident. A relative told WFTV one of the fatal shooting victims at the salon was pregnant. The relative also said that the pregnant woman may have been shot over jealousy due to a relationship. Officers have not confirmed that information. Another person is injured in the shooting incident and being treated at a nearby hospital. The police and officers from county sheriff's office were investigating the cause of the incident. The names of the victims were not released.
