Communities across San Diego County experienced light shaking from a 3.2-magnitude earthquake early Wednesday, officials said. The quake at 12:26 a.m. PDT was located about 13 miles east-southeast of Anza at a depth of 3.2 miles, UPI quoted the U.S. Geological Survey as reporting. Residents of Warner Springs, Valley Center, Escondido, San Marcos and San Diego reported feeling the temblor, the San Diego Union-Tribune said. The quake was thought to be located on the San Jacinto fault system, capable of producing earthquakes of 7-magnitute or higher, the newspaper said.
