
Four carriages of a passenger train Yekaterinburg-Adler derailed on Saturday, the emergencies ministry reports on its website.
"Today [August 8] at 11:10a.m. the ministry received information four first carriages of train going from Yekaterinburg (Urals) to Adler (North Caucasus) derailed in Mordovia," the report reads.
Two people got injured as four carriages of a passenger train Yekaterinburg-Adler derailed on Saturday.
Law enforcement authorities told TASS one man broke his arm. He has received medical assistance already.
"We have no further information about other injured", the source said.
The law enforcement authorities say two carriages with 60 passengers have turned over. The passengers are now at the dining car.
In the carriages, which derailed in Mordovia, were 118 people.
"The carriages were carrying 118 people, including two hosts," the source said. "The preliminary reports say about two injured, where one of them had a broken arm."
The passengers now are in the dining-car and also take vacant places in other carriages.
"Four head carriages derailed: the first one fell on the side, the second one lurched, the others remained in vertical positions," the source said.
The railway was damaged in the accident. Three repairing trains were sent to the site.
"Because of the accident, the delay in the schedule may be over three hours," the source said.
