Four military guards were killed and 14 ''civilians and soldiers'' were wounded in the twin explosions that ripped through the Damascus general headquarters of Syria's army, the SANA official news agency reported on Wednesday. State media previously reported that no officer within the building was injured or killed in the attack. A correspondent for Iran's nglish-language Press TV, Maya Nasser, was shot dead by a rebel sniper and its Damascus bureau chief, Hosein Mortada, was wounded while they covered Wednesday's explosions, Press TV said. Nasser was killed by ''foreign-supported insurgents,'' according to Press TV,l which blames Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar for arming the rebels.
