
At least four young men were killed and two others were injured seriously in a collision between a car and a freight train on a railway crossing in Turkey’s eastern Mus province late Saturday, authorities said.
According to police officials, there were six passengers in the car which collided with a freight train when it approached a railway crossing in Haskoy district’s Duzkisla town.
Abdullah Karakut, 20, Nurullah Bulakci, 24, Emre Elitas, 24, and Vehap Gucin, 25, died on the spot.
Celal Gucin and Mehmet Taran were taken to Mus State Hospital with serious injuries.
According to authorities, the group of young men had arrived in Haskoy district from Korkut district to play a football match with their friends.
