A Panama-registered cargo ship has run aground off northern Taiwan amid high waves caused by Typhoon Nalgae. Four crewmembers have died and six remain missing. Taiwan''s Coast Guard Administration said on Monday that the ship with 21 crewmembers onboard got stuck off Keelung Harbor in the morning, Japan''s (NHK World) website reported. The ship split into 2. 10 crewmembers were thrown into the sea, leaving 4 dead and 6 others missing. Their nationalities are not yet known. The ship departed Keelung Harbor for China on Sunday as Typhoon Nalgae passed over the South China Sea, causing intense wind and high seas. The administration said it will continue the search for the missing and will interview the survivors to investigate the accident.
