Four people died when a single-engine airplane crashed in Canada, authorities said. The Cessna 172 went down in a cornfield about 8 p.m. east of North Perth, Ontario, The (Kitchener) Record reported. Authorities reached the wreckage about 10:30 p.m. and found all four occupants -- three males and a female in their late teens and early 20s -- dead, the newspaper said. "A local resident observed the plane spiraling towards the ground and called 911, then we got the call from Cambridge Ambulance," Ontario Provincial Police Constable Keith Robb said. The names of the victims had not been released and the cause of the crash had not been determined.
