Afghan officials say gunmen took a few minutes before finding the restaurant in a luxury hotel in Kabul where nine people were killed, including four foreigners and two children. Interior Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqqi says the attackers reached the hotel at 8:30 p.m., evading security checks by hiding small pistols and ammunition in their socks and the soles of their shoes. Sediqqi told reporters on Friday that some details about the attack the night before have changed as authorities piece together the events. He says five Afghans were among those killed, including two children who were shot in the head. The slain foreigners were from Canada, New Zealand, India and Pakistan, AP reported.
