
Four miners were confirmed dead on Wednesday after a coal and gas outburst at a coal mine in Hancheng city in northwest China's Shaanxi Province on Monday, Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group announced.
The outburst happened at 4 : 18 a.m. on Monday as four miners were worked underground at Sangshuping coal mine. One of them was found dead on Monday afternoon, rescuers said.
The last body was pulled out of the coal mine on Wednesday afternoon.
Sangshuping coal mine is among the 45 outburst-prone coal mines in the country, authorities added.
