Four people were wounded in a blast in a missile factory in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Saturday, the semi-official Anadolu Agency reported. The explosion took place at a factory run by ROKETSAN, a local defense firm that produces short- and medium-range missiles for the Turkish Armed Forces, in Elmadag district. Two workers who were seriously injured were taken to hospital for medical treatment, said the report. The blast occurred while workers were performing a controlled explosion during the disposal of waste materials, said the report. An investigation has been launched into the incident to find out if there is any attempt for sabotage at the production facility.
