Five people were dead and one reported missing after a bus was caught in a rockslide, causing it to careen down a mountain and into river in south-western China, Xinhua news agency reported Saturday, citing local officials. Twenty-two were also reported injured in the accident, which happened at around 7:30 am (23:30 GMT Friday) near the town of Yibin, said an official from the provincial work safety administration. According to dpa, there were 29 passengers on the bus when it was hit by the rocks. After the impact, the driver lost control, sending the bus down the mountain. Many landslides have recently been reported in the region, following heavy rains.
