5 people missing in SW China landslide

Five people are missing following a landslide that occurred Wednesday morning in southwest China's Yunnan Province, local authorities said. The landslide occurred in the village of Xinzhai in the city of Xuanwei at 5am, trapping eight people, the municipal government said. Rescuers have pulled three people out of the debris thus far, Xinhua agency reported. Rescue efforts for the five missing are under way.
