Six people died and two children were injured in a road accident on the Simferopol-Nikolayevka highway in Crimea when a car fell down into a hole formed by a landslide, Vladimir Ivanov, the head of the press service chief for Crimean branch of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, told Itar-Tass.
The children were taken to hospital.
“The car fell into a hole which was almost eight meters deep and had eight meters in diameter. Rescuers, psychologists and road traffic inspectors are working at the scene. An investigation has been launched. A commission will establish the accident’s cause,” Ivanov said.
