At least six people were killed when an Indian Air Force's transport plane, C-130J Super Hercules, crashed in the western state of Rajasthan on Friday, a senior official said. "The crash took place in the state's Karauli district near Gwalior town in the bordering central state of Madhya Pradesh, after the aircraft took off on a routine sortie from an airbase in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh's town of Agra. So far, six bodies of the crew were recovered," he said on condition of anonymity. A probe has been ordered into the incident, the official added. The C-130J Super Hercules was one of the six acquired by India in 2010 from the U.S. under a 1.2 billion U.S. dollars deal and was used in search for the Malaysia Airlines missing jet.
