
Six people were killed and 12 others injured when a blast occurred on a passenger bus at Peshawar Chowk in Kohat Saturday morning, Geo TV reported.
According to police, miscreants had planted a bomb near the bus station at Peshawar Chowk in Kohat. The bodies and injured were moved to a hospital.
The passenger van was completely destroyed in the blast while police said five kilograms of explosives were used.
Police cordoned off the area and launched an investigation. Traffic has also been stopped on Kohat and Hangu Road.
