Six people were killed in the crash of a police cruiser on a robbery call and a civilian vehicle in Upper Arlington, Ohio, police said. A man and five females, including a 2-year-old, died in the Thursday accident. The driver of the police car was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital with a head injury and was expected to recover, WBNS-TV, Columbus, Ohio, reported Friday. Police said the officer, whose name wasn't reported, was driving northbound on Riverside Drive, running his lights and sirens as he headed to a nearby McDonald's on a robbery call, and that the cruiser crashed into the other vehicle, which was driving westbound on Fishinger Road. Police said they were not sure if the officer had a red or green light at the intersection.
