
At least seven people have been killed after a bus caught fire in the South Indian state of Karnataka on Thursday morning,local news channel NDTV reported. The bus was on its way from Bangalore to Mumbai and the diesel tank caught fire after the bus hit a divider. The accident happened at around 3 a.m. local time. There were more than 50 people inside the bus. The driver and cleaner of the bus managed to escape. The injured were sent to a local hospital. The accident comes two weeks after the bus tragedy in Andhra Pradesh state in which 45 people were killed.
