
At least seven people died and more than half-dozen seriously injured when a passenger jeep veered of the road in the Dang district, far-western district of Nepal, police officials said Tuesday. The investigation is underway to find the reason behind the accident which occurred Monday mid-night and police was informed on Tuesday early morning. The seriously injured have been admitted to Medical College Nepalgunj. The jeep plunged 100 meters down the road. Preliminary investigation has indicated that high-speed could be one reason behind the accident. "We are investigating the reasons behind the accident and injured people have been admitted to hospital," police official Milan Shrestha, who reached accident site, told media
