A bag containing eight foetuses was found near Indore, India, Saturday by a passerby who spotted dogs chewing on the human remains, authorities said. Subhash Yaday notified police, who found foetuses in plastic jars inside the gunny sack near Sipur Lake, several miles outside Indore, the Times News Network reported. The police took the body parts to the district hospital for further investigation and a doctor said it appeared they were 2-8 months old. The postmortem report stated it appeared the foetuses had been used by an institute or pathological lab for study purposes and were improperly disposed. Health officials ordered a probe into the incident.
