95 die in immigrant boat capsizal in Indonesia

The death toll from last week's illegal immigrant boat capsizal in waters off Prigi beach, East Java has reached 95, Indonesian police said Friday. "The total number of illegal immigrants onboard the ill-fated boat was 215. Survivors from the mishap were 49 and 61 others were still missing,"said Saud Usman, spokesperson of the Indonesian police headquarters. He added that police had arrested four suspects after the incident. They were charged with breaching immigration law. Those illegal immigrants, who hope to seek jobs in Australia, were from Middle East countries and Afghanistan.
