At least seven people were injured as a blast ripped through a preaching center early Monday morning in Charsadda, a city in northwest Pakistan. Police said that it was a home-made bomb attack. It is not known yet how many people were inside the preaching center when the explosion took place. Several cars in a show room adjacent to the preaching center were also damaged, media reports said. Located some 40 kilometers northeast of Peshawar, Charsadda is a city frequently attacked by terrorists. On May 13, a suicide bomb attack at an armed border police training center in the city left 98 people killed and over 140 others injured, most of whom were police.
