Bangladesh’s sunken ferry vitims death toll rises to 22

Local government officials said here on Friday that the deathtoll of the ferry that capsized in southernBangladesh earlier Thursday rose to 22people.At least six people were killed and scores were missing earlier Thursday after the MVMiraz with 200 to 350 passengers on board sank in the Meghna River during astorm which hit southern the capital Dhaka.A local government official said rescue vessels and divers from firefighting and civildefence departments were deployed to search for the missing.
