The health of evangelist Rev. Billy Graham, 93, hospitalized in North Carolina with a respiratory illness, is improving, a hospital spokeswoman confirmed. Graham was admitted to Mission Hospital in Asheville Sunday morning. "He continues to improve. The prognosis is very positive," spokeswoman Rowena Buffett Timms said Monday. It is Graham's third hospital stay for respiratory issues in since May 2011, the Asheville Citizen-Times reported Monday. "Mr. Graham continues to do well and the infection is responding well to treatment," hospital pulmonologist Dr. David Pucci said. Graham watched the London Olympics' closing ceremony on television Sunday evening, which "brought back fond memories of various crusades Mr. Graham had in the U.K. and in Rio de Janeiro, host city for the next Summer Olympics, over seven decades of public ministry," Graham spokesman A. Larry Ross said on Monday.
