At least four people were killed and 18 others injured on Sunday in a bomb explosion in Sibi, about 160km to the east of the provincial capital Quetta, Geo News reported.
Police said that the explosives were planted inside a motorcycle parked on Chakar road in Sibi town. They said that four people were killed and 18 passersby were injured when the bomb exploded.
"The bomb was planted in a motorbike. We are investigating the possible targets but we have not found any specific target yet," said senior police official Ghulam Ali Baluch.
The injured were taken to Sibi Civil hospital and Combined Military hospital, some of which were said to be in critical state.
The injured also included three children.
Police cordoned off the area and said that the bomb disposal squad had been called to clear the area of any other explosives.
