A night-shift worker who was badly burned in an explosion at a Bombardier Recreational Products plant in Canada died Monday. Sebastien Tardif, 38, was hospitalized in critical condition after the blast Friday at the factory in Valcourt, Quebec, the QMI news agency reported. A security guard who was also injured remained in a Quebec City burn center. Police officers who rushed to the plant Friday after seeing the explosion from several miles away found the fire raging when they got there. Tardif, who leaves behind two children, was a vehicle tester at the research facility. The explosion was the second at a Quebec factory in two days. Two people were killed at the Neptune Technologies and Bioresources plant in Sherbrooke in a blast Thursday that injured four others seriously, including a man who died Saturday in a Montreal burn unit.
