Five people were seriously hurt in Chicago early Saturday morning when a two-car collision pushed one of the vehicles into a bus shelter. The injured included a man and woman on the street, the Chicago Tribune reported. The others were passengers in the cars. Investigators' preliminary findings were that a Cadillac, going at excessive speed, hit a Pontiac on the passenger side at an intersection in the Lawndale neighborhood at about 2:30 a.m. The impact sent the Pontiac careening into the bus shelter. The drivers of both cars were unhurt. A man and woman in the Cadillac and a man in the Pontiac all sustained injuries.
