Chinese Army will offer relief materials to Thai armed forces to aid the country''s flood relief work, according to a press release issued by China''s Defense Ministry on Saturday. The relief materials, including 24 speed and rubber boats, six diesel-fuel generators and 200 emergency lights will be airlifted to Thailand''s capital of Bangkok on Sunday, according to China''s (Xinhua) news agency. The assistance is being sent to represent China''s sympathy and care for Thais living in flood-hit areas, as well as demonstrate friendship between the two militaries, the press release said. A total of 297 people have been confirmed dead and two people remain missing as the result of floods have inundated north Thailand for almost three months, Thailand''s Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department reported on Saturday.
