Colombian police reported on Saturday that they have found five bodies on the Gulf of Uraba, located in the country's northwestern region, who apparently drowned after their boat sank. Uraba's police director Raul Antonio Riano told local media that all victims were male and unidentified, and authorities were investigating if the boat was a foreign vessel transporting immigrants to Central America, according to Colombia's Caracol Radio's website. "We have found five bodies in the area from the mouth of Atrato River to the Gulf of Uraba ... They are all males, the alleged cause was by drowning and they do not show signs of violence," Riano said. The authorities are undertaking a search operation in the area to rule out other possible victims, Riano added.
