
Four people were confirmed dead and three others injured in a rainstorm-triggered landslide that hit southwest China's Sichuan Province early Saturday morning, according to the local government. The landslide washed off a residential house and trapped seven people in Fulai village in the city of Luzhou at around 5:30 a.m. said the Luzhou city government. As of 4 p.m., all seven trapped persons had been found under efforts of more than 200 rescuers. Four of them were confirmed dead and the injured are receiving medical treatment in hospital, Xinhua reported.
