Erdogan : Turkey to Open embassy in Mogadishu

Turkish Prime Minister Recep TayyipErdogan today announced that Turkey will open a new embassy in the famine-strickenSomalia. The new embassy will facilitate coordinationof Turkish aid to the country, the worst affected in the region by a prolongeddrought, said Erdogan during a meeting with the Somali President . Erdogan, accompanied by some of his Cabinetministers, toured Mogadishu on the first visit by a major leader in nearly 20years to witness the devastation wrought by the famine in the Somali capital.
